I just finished a read of A Love as Strong as Death by Rickey Pittman, Bard of the South. Some people spend their lives searching for love. Others find it the moment they stop looking. This skillfully written romance novel is set against the timeless charm of Charleston, South Carolina, and is an unforgettable love story exploring the mysterious forces that bring two strangers together. When they meet for the first time, the connection is immediate. It is something deeper than attraction, beyond logic, and impossible to ignore. It feels as though the universe has been quietly guiding them toward each other all along. While many dismiss coincidence as chance, they begin to realize that every encounter, every detour, and every unexpected moment has led them to this one extraordinary meeting. Their bond is tested by circumstances and by people determined to pull them apart, but some connections are stronger than the obstacles standing in their way.
As they learn to trust each other, they also learn to trust the signs the universe places in their path. Because sometimes love doesn’t arrive when you’re searching for it, it finds you exactly when you’re ready.
This is a heartfelt romance set in the beautiful neighborhoods, historic buildings and coastal landscapes of South Carolina, this novel celebrates fate, first sight, and the extraordinary power of a love that was always meant to be.

Charleston, South Carolina
